Our Story : A message from the owner

After graduating with both a Bachelor and Master's degree, the owner of Tuxedo Cat's worked a multitude of myriad jobs all while adeptly learning sundry skill sets until she discovered one [in particular] that passionately stuck!

In late 2018, she completed Professional Barista School to learn the whole 9 yards about coffee.

The rest is history...

She presents to you her rendition of a mobile coffee cube!

Meet the muse behind it all...

Meet затмение, aka Mina, the real tuxedo cat! Inspired by her distinct black and white markings, her name (pronounced zat-men-iye) means ECLIPSE in Russian. Even though she was adopted from the San Antonio Humane Society, we like to think she adopted us! Her intelligence, gentle nature, and humorous disposition vivified our business model.

With great sadness, we regret to inform all customers that our beloved tuxedo cat Mina passed away on April 13, 2024. She was the inspiration for our company...she will forever be in our hearts. She was 11 years young (10 of those years spent with us). There was a memorial in her honor to celebrate the beautiful life of joy she gave us. Her memory lives on, every day, with each drink we make...
